I am proud to be licensed as a Registered Dietitian through the College of Dietitians of Ontario (  I am a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science (2012) and a Masters of Science (2014) in Applied Human Nutrition.  I completed my dietetic internship in Halifax with the Nova Scotia Health Authority: Central Zone Graduate Dietetic Internship Program in 2016, where I completed rotations in hospitals, management, clinics and public health.  Since graduating, I have worked as a clinical dietitian in hospital and clinic settings, as a public health nutritionist, a university lecturer, and a program coordinator.  I am also completing my Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.  Christine McPhail Nutrition wass my private practice (now Blossom Counselling Centre) venture, where I provide one-on-one nutrition counselling services to adults (18+) and their loved ones.

My counselling is informed by the principles of Health at Every Size  (HAES),   Intuitive Eating, Mindful Eating, the Non-Diet Approach, and The Division of Responsibility in Feeding.  I value providing evidence-based and compassionate nutrition care and building a collaborative and supportive relationship with my clients and their families. I believe that health and good nutrition actually begin with establishing a good relationship with food and your body and my goal is to help clients remove food rules and guilt and rediscover the satisfaction and nourishment that food can bring.

I look forward to working with you!
